Edit: Excellent show, but a little on the boomy side

Subject: Some of our amps can handle the bass...
I did have the Sax high, but I am able to play this show without any distortion. I think the fault lies in your amp, not in the recording.

The Duo was hot this night. Gordon really knows how to jam it good, and this recording shows it. Sound quality is as good as one could expect. It took a long time for me to take this out of my CD player. Get it.

for those of you who weren't there, since it isn't indicated here, Mike Gordon plays bass the entire show. absolutley incredible! some of the most interesting music I've heard lately, this being my first taste of benevento/russo. Michael Kang sits in halfway through, first on fiddle, then on electric mando.

Notes

Mike Gordon on bass the entire show
Michael Kang on some tracks
